At the recent Dubbo Regional Council meeting, councillors voted to cease the management contract of the Dubbo Aquatic and Leisure Centre with B and N Aquatics in March 2019 in line with the terms of the contract.
During the meeting, Council recognised the 12 years of service provided by B and N Aquatics to the Dubbo Aquatic and Leisure Centre and wider community.
The management of the Dubbo Aquatic and Leisure Centre will be brought in-house and managed internally under the Recreation and Open Space function.

Former Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre manager Nick Wilson said he's enjoyed the past 13 years working at the pool, where he has been able to build long lasting friendships with staff and the community.
"I want to thank the Dubbo Regional Council for giving me the opportunity at 23-years-old to run the pool," Mr Wilson said.
"I wish Dubbo Regional Council all the luck with whatever path they decide to go down.
"I'd love to still be there but it just hasn't worked out that way."
Also at the meeting Dubbo Regional Council determined that Wellington Memorial Pool Complex would be renamed to the Wellington Aquatic and Leisure Centre to reflect the additional facilities on offer at the redeveloped site.
Since 2018, Wellington pool has been undergoing its first ever redevelopment.
At the time of the first investigative works last year, DRC mayor Ben Shields said the new Wellington pool would be an exciting improvement for locals and a major boost for the town.
"It will be a much better complex, more user friendly, more friendly for families. It will put Wellington up there as having one of the best facilities for towns of its size," Cr Shields said.
The multi-million dollar upgrades includes a new eight lane heated pool with disabled access, a heated exercise and learn to swim pool, splash pad and new amenities.
The works are expected to be completed by the 2019/2020 swim season.
