The WPCC held Waste to Art workshops on the first two days of the school holidays.
The popular workshops allowed students of all ages to turn every day items into an artwork representing the forest.

Aoife Joe spent two days working on the artwork.
"I tried making an insect out of balloons and wool," she said.
"And I made a tiger out of cardboard with my sister."
Michelle McKay said while the workshop aimed to make an artwork, overall she just wanted people to have fun.
Ms McKay said a lot of the kids' parents and grandparents also stayed during the workshop and were able to work on their own skills.
The artwork was a depiction of the forest, including the rays of light, trees and even some spiders. It was created across multiple workshops on Monday and Tuesday.
