Deciding what to do when you finish high school can be a daunting and overwhelming experience for many teenagers, but the process is now hopefully easier for 400 Dubbo students.

On Tuesday they gathered at St Johns College to hear from workers in a range of fields and learn about possible career pathways.
"It's good to hear from all these people because you can change your mind a lot [when considering what career to pursue]," Year 10 student and aspiring beautician Kayla Strudwick said.
"I want to get a trade and work in construction," Beau McIntosh told the Daily Liberal.
Nursing, the navy, teaching, building and medicine were some of the inspiring career options students from Macquarie Anglican Grammar School, Dubbo College South Campus, Dubbo Christian School and St Johns College learnt about.
At the event, students were able to listen to panel discussions, have any misconceptions about the jobs market addressed, get practical knowledge to help with finding a job and find out more about the huge variety of jobs they could secure once they finish school.
The Footnotes — a Sydney-based organisation that engages students in conversations to help them bridge the gap between high school and life beyond it — delivered the event.
