The Tigers' RSL-Whitney Cup first grade side is already in the decider after finishing as minor premiers and the same goes for Newtown Gold in the RSL-Kelly Cup third grade competition.
Newtown Black could well meet clubmates in that final as Newtown White is playing RSL-Colts Coolbaggie in the RSL-Kelly Cup semi-final at No. 3 Oval on Saturday.
Newtown also has its second grade side in action at No. 2 Oval this weekend, the Tigers meeting Rugby there for the right to face Colts in the grand final.
Rounding out the Newtown hopes is the side's Gold team in the RSL-Dawson Cup repechage competition.
The Gold Tigers finished the season fifth in third grade and meet CYMS Green for the right to play CYMS White in the decider.
Newtown finished in second relatively comfortable in the RSL-Pinnington Cup,and heads into the semi-final knowing it has beaten Rugby in each of the three previous meetings this season.
After two heavy losses earlier in the season, Rugby did get closer last time out and was beaten by 30 runs.
The RSL-Pinnington Cup decider is a two-day match to be played from 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
The RSL-Kelly Cup and RSL-Dawson Cup are both one day matches, being played on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
