360 ALLSTARS director and performer Gene Peterson said the show replaces stereotype traditional circus art-forms with contemporary street style.
"So instead of acrobats you have break-dancers, instead of a juggler there's a basketball freestyler, instead of a unicyclist there's a BMX rider and so on," he said.
"Each of those generic traditional art forms are,.. given an urban street twist."
The show derives itself from its name 360 AllStars, with all of the art forms featuring rotation and all of the artists the best in the world at their given discipline.
The BMX rider is a two time world champion form Hungary, the world champion break-dancer hails from New Zealand and the basketball freestyler from Belgian is the best in the world.
"We went out and did our research and found out who was the world champion, or the Guinness world record holder, the best in each of these disciplines...," he said.
