Michael Meathrel, 34, pleaded guilty to mid-range drink driving in Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday, after police stopped him for a random breath on February 15.
The court heard he was previously disqualified from driving for a low-range drink driving offence.
Police also previously pulled Mr Meathrel up for string of offences including driving without a headlight lamp alight, driving contrary to a stop sign or line, driving while using a mobile phone and speeding.
Magistrate Gary Wilson issued a $500 fine to Mr Meathrel and disqualified him from driving for six months.
"You will need to have an interlock device attached to your vehicle at your expense," Mr Wilson also advised Mr Meathrel.
"It has to be calibrated every couple of months."
