Who was the first person to settle here? How many floods we've endured?
All of those questions and more will be answered along a walking tour of Dubbo.
Created by Denis Grace, the Dubbo Pub and History Tour has been operating for about six months now.
The walking history tour sees Denis share his knowledge of the 200 year old town to history buffs from Dubbo and beyond.
Along the way Denis and the historians stop in to various pubs across the city to not only share stories but to have a bite to eat as well.
Originally from Sydney, this is Denis' second time living in Dubbo.

Denis said the idea for the walking history tour was first sparked about three years ago but it wasn't until this second move to Dubbo that it came to fruition.
Since its inception six months ago more than 60 people have attended the walking tour, with Dubbo residents and people from all over the central west attending.
The tours have incorporated visits to local venues including winery Red Earth Estate, pubs The Commercial Hotel, Pastoral Hotel, the Old Bank Bar and Restaurant plus as far as Wellington.
"What has been one of the best things about starting the tour has been how open the businessmen have been to the idea," Denis said.
"It's so good how open the businesses I've been dealing with are and accepting to try and make it work for me."
Denis said he has never been a big history buff but said was always researching.
"History is storytelling and it's interpretive," he said.
Denis described the tours as relaxed and a great way to meet people. Past tours have included a St Patrick's Day Pub Crawl which saw participants visit Wongarbon.
The next big themed event will be in April when Denis puts on an Easter Scavenger Hunt on April 20.
Starting at 2pm, the three hour fun and interactive tour will have various teams play games and hunt for eggs before finishing at the Commercial Hotel about 5pm.
As well as being a keen tour guide, Denis is a passionate traveller and does community projects in Africa to help fund local children's visit to the Maasai Massai Mara National Reserve.
"Just to try and get them inspired in conservation and looking after their own wildlife," Denis said of the project's aim.
So far Denis has helped 250 African children get into the Massai Mara National reserve, after raising enough funds.

"They can't afford to get into their own National Park ... they see all of the vehicles going in yet they can't afford to go in themselves, so we get them in the Park for the day," Denis said.
A portion of the Dubbo Pub and History Tours goes towards helping these African children.
