The annual event on March 21 and is marked by people coming together to show respect and inclusiveness.
Harmony Day coincides with the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The ongoing theme is 'everyone belongs'.

The Stage 3 students at Dubbo West Public School have been learning about Japan, China, the Philippines and India as part of their geography syllabus, so the countries were honoured at the school's event.
Recognising the Japanese culture students made origami and Pokemon craft, plus they made Indian art and dance.
Special 'passports' were created for the infant students to travel to the classrooms where the older children became guides to another world.
Stage 3 assistant principal at Dubbo West Public Nikki Mudge said Harmony Day was about teaching students to have respectful relationships with people from other cultures.
"And also broadening their horizons around understanding what other cultures are in Dubbo and the world," she said.
