The crew from Apollo House and LeaderLife together with the Westview Drive-In are set to bring award-winning film BackTrack Boys to Dubbo next month.
New blockbuster Captain Marvel and action-packed The Fast and the Furious are also on the line-up for the event.
Founder of LeaderLife at Apollo House Joh Leader encouraged the community to make the most of the April 12-14 occasion.
All funds raised would help LeaderLife programs provide kids with the tools they needed to grow, she said.
LeaderLife is a not-for-profit organisation focusing on giving children in the Dubbo community "love, support and guidance".
It runs programs out of Apollo House in Dubbo's east, directly focusing on skill building, emotional resilience and offering support where needed.
Ms Leader invited community members to put their feet up and enjoy the movies.
"We are very proud of the kids who are really stepping up to run this fundraising event for their community," she said.
"We hope to see as many carloads as possible at the marathon movie weekend, showing full support for the kids.
"These young fellas are help-anyone and do-anything kind of kids, ultimately trying to find their way and purpose in life.
"Sometimes the best view comes from the hardest climb.
"At LeaderLife we focus on providing opportunities so that all kids in our community feel wonderfully precious, dearly cared about and valued children in our society."
The LeaderLife crew recently went out to the drive-in, which started operating one weekend a month late last year.
Wes Toomey, 17, said: "Us fellas are looking forward to the event."
"It will be a deadly weekend, bring your families along for a good time," he said.
Westview Drive-In operator Jason Yelverton was excited about the partnership.
"These are the very kind of events in Dubbo that are important, and brings the whole of the community together," he said.
A cohort of "BackTrack boys" will be in attendance on April 13.
The film follows boys in a youth program run by jackaroo Bernie Shakeshaft on the outskirts of Armidale.
