Local organisations are invited to attend the free workshop on Monday, April 8 at the Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre.
The workshop will help those apply for grants that support community projects in Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation's latest funding round.
The funding opened on Monday, March 25 and will close on Monday, May 6.
Charitable Foundation Executive Officer Graham Batten is hosting a workshop and urging local organisations to apply before the funding round closes.
"All charity organisations with Deductible Gift Recipient Status in Dubbo looking to fund projects that address important community issues can apply for a grant from the Charitable Foundation," Mr Batten said.

"We support projects that help people who are disadvantaged, marginalised or isolated and support social opportunity and development in our regional communities."
To free workshop on how to apply for a grant will be held from 11am.
"The two-hour workshop will explain how to apply for grant funding, how applications are assessed, and the types of community projects that have been funded in the past," Mr Batten said.
"It will also be an opportunity to meet members of our team and network with other local not-for-profits."
Mr Batten encourages anyone interested in submitting a grant application to attend one of the workshops.
"The feedback we've received from past attendees is that what they learned at the workshop was invaluable in preparing their funding application," he said.
The Charitable Foundation has supported local projects including $43,000 for an outdoor area at Macquarie Home Stay and $41,000 to Lifeline Central West for community mental health education seminars..
