Parkes junior Billy Burns has come on in leaps and bounds in the Penrith system in recent years and Yeo is one of the many who has been left impressed.
"Another smokey is Billy Burns," Yeo said last week when discussing players who have impressed him inpre-season.
"He's trained really well and I expect him to push his case."
Burns will have to bide his time a little longer though, as he has again been named in Penrith's reserve grade side for the Canterbury Cup clash with Newcastle.
Burns will play in the second row, with another Dubbo junior in Kaide Ellis lining up at lock.
