Colts will enjoy next week off before playing in the second grade grand final, and they go into that match in ominous form after Grant Malouf inspired the win over Macquarie.
The result was all but assured when played resumed on Saturday, with Malouf having reduced Macquarie to 5/18 at stumps on day one after his side had posted 189.
Malouf went on to finish with the simply stunning figures of 7/15 from 16 overs as Macquarie was bowled out for just 84 at Lady Cutler 4 on Saturday.
Harry Brennan showed some fight for Macquarie on Saturday and top-scored with 35.
Colts will sit back and watch Newtown and Rugby play off in the semi-final after both sides won in the final round.
Newtown survived a scare against a Campbell Watts-led CYMS side while Rugby proved far too good for South Dubbo.
At Lady Cutler 2, Newtown resumed at 2/10 in reply to CYMS 180. CYMS went into the match needed a convincing win and a Rugby loss to move into the top three.
Young gun Watts took both wickets late on day one and picked up where he left off to have Newtown in real trouble at 4/24.
Jakob Short (42) and Greg Kerr (28) led the fightback for the Tigers and soon had them in control, but both fell to Watts to make it an even contest again.
The names came through Rugby had eased past Souths and while CYMS kept fighting the Tigers went on to win by two wickets.
Bart Goodman (37 not out) and Matt Hull (35 not out) got their side home while Watts finished with 6/30 from 14 overs.
Rugby ensured a place in the finals by scoring a seven-wicket win over Souths.
Resuming at 0/25 in reply to Souths 122, Rugby lost Koda Sissian (4) and Kye Matterson (5) early but that was about as good as it got for the Hornets.
Roland O'Connor batted through the innings and made 35 not out while captain Zac Murphy led from the front and made a key 54.
Angus Wood impressed with the ball for Souths and was a standout in the defeat. He finished with 2/23 from eight overs.
Newtown and Rugby will play the RSL-Pinnington Cup semi-final at No. 2 Oval next week with the winner to meet RSL-Colts in the decider.
