The participants rode from Dubbo to Mungery, south-west of Narromine.
There the local community hosted them, organising a range of activities.
Organiser Wayne Amor said feedback in previous years had reinforced to him the powerful purpose of Black Dog Ride.
"Absolutely, there's always someone, and they might just flick you a message on Facebook or on email or something like that, and say look this is great," he said.
He thanked all volunteers and supporters for making it happen.
The Dubbo event was one of many held across Australia.
