A 70-year-old man has driven his car into the South Dubbo Post office on Friday afternoon.

Police responded to the call around 3.45pm after the car mounted the footpath and went into the front of the post office.
Orana Mid-Western Police Inspector Dan Skelly said the car was driven by a 70-year-old man from Dubbo.
The driver was uninjured in the incident, and there were no other reports of injuries.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
On Friday evening builders were working on the front of the post office to make the structure safe, and council were called upon to put a boundary around the scene to make the footpath safe for pedestrians.
