Central West has, at times, battled with the number of available referees in the region in recent years and have made the call to try and draw more in to avoid too many club to appoint situations in 2019, which is always a less than ideal situation the governing body and clubs would like to avoid.
It's an entry level course for Level 1 coaches and referees and gives you a Smart Rugby qualification, something the governing body is demanding all mentors and officials have in the 2019 season.
The course kicks off at 8.30am on Sunday morning, costs $95 and female participants are thoroughly encouraged to attend as well.
Anyone interested can contact NSW Rugby's central west development officer Jarrod Simpson on 0449 819 892 to book a spot, or get more information.
