That quote summed up an empowering evening on Friday as over 300 women gathered at the Dubbo RSL to celebrate International Women's Day.
Hosted by the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce and focusing on Women in Business, guests heard from inspirational speakers Jillian Kilby and Samuel Johnson.
Focusing on his sister and charity Love Your Sister, Mr Johnson spoke about his life, and the life of his sister, and what she achieved for those affected by breast cancer before she passed away.
Ms Kilby took the audience on a journey from a rural property, to the United States and back to Dubbo where the scaffolding is about to come off her latest project.
