Ms Davidson, who grew up in Dubbo, was crowned second in the mainstream category at the Australian Supermodel of the Year.
There were 25 people who flew to Bali for the finals of the competition in different categories ranging from teen to fitness.
"We were having daily photo shoots, we were having life coaching, we were having catwalk training and we just had an absolute ball. Everyone got along, we had no trouble, we had no drama, everyone was really helpful. And I managed to place second," Ms Davidson said.
"It felt so amazing. I didn't actually realise how many people had tried out so to get that far was actually an honour."

Entrants were judged on their portfolio, how they held themselves, walking and their interactions with others.
"A big part of it was being friendly and lovely because that's the change we're all trying to bring about in the industry," she said.
The 26-year-old said modelling was something she had always wanted to do.
"I first started when I was 21 but I didn't have the confidence to push it so I was just getting in front of the camera with friends and playing around," she said.
"It wasn't until about six months ago when I had a photo shoot, and I started publishing photos on Instagram, that I started getting invitations to shoot with some very high profile photographers."
Ms Davidson said she looks back at some of her first photo shoots and cringes. She said it has taken her a while to realise you have to put in the effort to be good.
It's an industry the model says she loves to be in.
"I get to work with creative people every single day. I think bring able to be creative and being able to be heard and being able to capture something in an image is just fantastic," she said.
Her advice for others?
"Don't listen to anyone who tells you no. If you think you can do it, you can do it. And practice, practice, practice, that's all it takes," Ms Davidson said.
