Kids as young as four will don their goggles, bike helmets and running shoes for the season finale, with fun, friends and improvement the goal.
Adults will also be able to compete in an aquathon - a swim proceeded by a run - before a barbecue to celebrate the end of another successful Junior Tri-Stars season.
The DTC will also hire the slide for an hour to mark the occasion.
President Jason Dearmer said it had been a highly successful season for the children and adults alike.
"It's really positive and they seem to enjoy it," he said of the kids, first and foremost.
"It's something different than what team sports may be available around town as well. Some of them do a Saturday sport and then come and do a Tri-Stars event on the Sunday.
"We've had a few adults who started out doing an aquathon transitioning over to doing a few more senior races, which is good."
Sunday's action commences at 9am with the Short Course race (ages four and up: 12 metre swim, 250m ride, 250m run), before the Medium Course (six and up: 25m swim, 500m ride, 500m run) at 9.15am and the Long Course (eight and up: 50m swim, 1km bike, 1km run) at 9.30am.
The adult aquathon (200m swim, 2km run) commences at 10am.
Medals were recently introduced for anyone that completes their third Tri-Star event, while the club will also look to hand out some achievement and encouragement awards on Sunday.
Dearmer said the events have averaged between 50 and 80 competitors this season, but he hopes to see as many as 90 at the pool this weekend.
