The schools took part in an emergency services day. The Rural Fire Service, SES and Orana Mid-Western police were all on hand to teach the students about their role in different emergencies.
The 79 students took part in nine stations from using the fire hose to a police obstacle course to calling triple-0.
Parents and Carers president Chris Newberry said the day would teach the students what to do in an emergency.
He said while the activities were all designed to be fun, he hoped it would make it less scary for a child to call triple-0 or evacuate in a fire.
Mr Newberry, an RFS volunteer, said he also wanted the students to speak to their families about creating a bushfire plan.
This was the third year Geurie Public School had held the emergency services day. It's grown from one fire truck and 30 students in year one, to a multi school event.
