Police said three lambs and 16 ewes were stolen from a Cooka Hills Road property in Cookamidgera between February 14 and 16.
"We are investigating two people trespassing on the same property on February 19, and at the same time a drone was flying around the northern side of the property," police said.
"It is not known at this stage, if the people associated with flying the drone relate to the missing sheep."
Residents are requested to share information with Parkes Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
