Welcome to Catholic Schools Week and St John’s Primary School. In 2019 we will be celebrating 50 years as a school within the Dubbo community which is something we are very proud of. St John's Primary School Dubbo was established in 1969 and will be celebrating the important milestone during Term 3, where the community will be made feel very welcome in sharing their memories of their own catholic education.

Catholic Schools Week is a wonderful occasion for students, teachers, families and parishes to acknowledge the strengths and achievements of catholic schools and St John’s Primary School welcome you to come and share in our events during the week. During the week we will be attending Ash Wednesday Mass at St. Brigid’s Church. We will gather with St. Pius X at St. Brigid’s at 10am to celebrate Ash Wednesday Mass which marks the beginning of Lent, with all family members are invited to attend. On Thursday, March 7, St John’s will have Open Classrooms from 12:30 to 1:15pm. This is a great time to welcome new and existing families within our school to have a look at your child’s classroom and also mingle with school community members.
