The Bathurst man, aged in his 40s, has taken out first prize in this afternoon's Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
He scored the prize on a free ticket won from an earlier draw.
The win comes just weeks after a Bathurst pair became instant multi-millionaires with a $20 million Oz Lotto win.
The latest lucky local was oblivious to his good fortune until a NSW Lotteries official startled him with his winning news.

“Oh [expletive],” he said when the size of the win was revealed.
“That’s awesome. My wife’s crying right now.
“I won a free ticket the other day on an earlier draw and now it’s given me this. It’s a whirlwind.”
The regular Lucky Lotteries player is already dreaming of what he might do with his prize.
“I was thinking about this the other day and I thought $200,000 would be very nice if I ever won it,” he laughed.
“There’s a couple of things we’ll do – pay off a few things and buy a block of land for a new home.
“This has just made my day."
