BBCs founder and creative director Camilla Ward reports that it will be part of a digital archive website showcasing all productions of the show, first performed in 2013 at the National Theatre in London.
She said an invitation to contribute to the website had been received from United Kingdom (UK) youth theatre company, Company Three.
"This ground-breaking and innovative piece of youth theatre, involved using a blueprint created by Company Three, and collaboration by the cast and crew of the BBCs with author Toni Grant, who volunteered as scriptwriter to explore the theme of Why do teenagers do what they do?," Mrs Ward said.
"Based on the latest scientific research of how the teenage brain works and the cast’s own real-life experiences, audiences were taken on a journey to experience the truth-telling voices of local teens."
BBCs, the youth theatre company at Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC), brought Brainstorm to Australia.
"To date, Brainstorm has been performed over 100 times in 35 unique productions in countries such as the UK, Hong Kong, Jordan, Kenya, Malta, New Zealand, Slovenia and the United States of America," Mrs Ward said.
“To be acknowledged by Company Three for our production of Brainstorm is a tremendous achievement for all our young local BBCs cast and crew.
"We are very excited for the continued development of youth theatre in Dubbo."
On that note Mrs Ward is reminding wannabe young thespians of another round of auditions for two productions of the BBCs 2019 season in May and June.
They will be held at the DRAMA-Black Box Theatre in the Community Arts Building at WPCC on Tuesday from 4.30pm to 6pm for children and youth aged 10 to 13 years.
On Wednesday, auditions will run from 4pm to 5.30pm for teenagers aged 14 to 18 years.
"Our 2019 season, Be the Change-Tell your Story, will build on the success of Brainstorm offering our local youth ages 10 to 18 opportunities to tell their stories not only through the processes of scriptwriting and performance but also the elements of stage design and production," Mrs Ward said,
"It is the full theatre experience for any young actor serious about their passion.”
