The Macquarie Regional Library celebrated Library Lovers' Day on February 14.
Patrons were treated to a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake to celebrate the occasion. Every person who borrowed a book was also given a chocolate and went into a draw to get a box of chocolates.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Acting Dubbo libraries coordinator Anne Barwick said people could also go on a 'blind date with a book' by borrowing a wrapped-up novel or take advantage of their special photo booth.
Not only was it a nice way to encourage people to come into the library, Ms Barwick said it was also a fun day for the staff.
The library has celebrated the lovers' day for the past few years.
