The Amaroo Hotel Tigers are already assured automatic progression to the final after finishing first, while the Castlereagh Hornets have also secured a top three spot.
The Blasters currently sit third but the Cougars can take that place with victory at No. 1 Oval.
The Cougars have endured two draws this season - once because of heat and one because of rain - and they sit with one win and one loss outside that.
The Blasters have performed better than their placing shows, they've won three of four games, but two points were deducted for not completing their off-field duties on gameday earlier in the season.
The one loss the side did suffer was one of the most one-sided games in Megahit history. The Blasters were bowled out for 33 in reply to the Tigers' 7/139 that night.
Wes Giddings and Marty Jeffrey have been the Blasters' best this season while for the Cougars, Thomas Nelson, Stuart Naden and Ben Strachan have been among the standouts.
Jeffrey and the Cougars' Brock Larance are available again after missing last weekend's play due to representative commitments.
Play starts 6.30pm.
