“The Great Business Program will give our local business owners and their employees the chance to meet and network with like-minded people and access resources for things like grant funding. It's an opportunity to develop their business and engage their teams, inspiring innovation and expansion,” Council’s economic development team leader Tim Nichols said.
“I encourage all businesses in Dubbo and Wellington to take part in the program, no matter the size of your business, including; retail, professional services, home businesses, light industry, entertainment, trade and commercial businesses.”
Mr Nichols said there would be an opportunity for businesses to apply for one of three $5000 business development grants that could be used to expand or improve an existing element of their business, as well as two prizes of free entry into the Findex Growth Meterics Program, valued at $4725 each.
The Great Business Program is supported by the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce and the Wellington Business Chamber. It’s sponsored by Findex.
