Orana Mid-Western Police District is appealing for information after a car trailer was stolen at the weekend.

Sergeant Jill Gibson said police were investigating the stolen trailer which was taken from a business on Gilgandra Road between Friday and Sunday. She said the trailer – registration TF 78 AU – was large and designed for carrying a car.
Anyone who was in the area or sees the trailer should contact Dubbo Police Station on 6883 1599.
Police are also appealing for information about a stolen ute.
About 2am on Sunday, February 3, a 1990 White Nissan Navara table top ute was stolen from a residential property.
Police later found the ute after it was dumped, and left unlocked, outside Dubbo College Delroy Campus.
Any witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of the school at the time are urged to come forward.

Thirty-three-year-old man arrested
A man has been arrested after he was seen looking into cars on East Street in Dubbo.
About 1.30am on Monday police stopped and spoke to a 33-year-old Dubbo man on Cobra Street after reports he was looking into cars.
A search of the man revealed a torch and a sheathed knife. He was arrested and charged with possessing break and enter implements and possession of a knife in a public place, second and subsequent offence.
He was bail refused to Dubbo Local Court later that morning.

Empty gun safe found
Residents in the region have been advised to check their gun safes.
About 10am on Sunday, February 3, a community member contacted Orana Mid-Western Police District officers after finding a Phoenix brand firearm safe in Dappo Road at Narromine.
The safe was empty and has no distinguishing features.
Police are appealing for residents to check their firearm safes to ensure they have not be stolen.

Charges over break and enter
A 19-year-old woman has been charged at the weekend after breaking into a service station.
Sergeant Jill Gibson said the Gilgandra teenager was charged after she handed herself into officers from the Orana Mid-Western Police District.
“Police were investigating a break and enter at a service station in Gilgandra where the glass door was smashed and a large amount of damage was done inside the premises,” Sergeant Gibson said.
“On Friday, February 1, the 19-year-old presented at Gilgandra Police Station and made admissions to the offence.”
The teenager was charged with break and enter. She was given conditional bail to attend Gilgandra Local Court on February 8.
