The young strike bowler hit great line and length to claim an astonishing 6-20 and two maidens from his eight overs, seeing off Angus Norton (bowled, 0), Corey McDean (5), Mat Finlay (bowled, 0), Scott Tucker (lbw, 0), Joseph Yeo (bowled, 0) and Lachlan Rayner (lbw, 0).
Ben Semmler (3-19 off 8) was also explosive, dismissing Josh Williams (bowled, 3), Mitch Bower (19) and Adam Wells (bowled, 0), before Wes Giddings (1-7 off 2.1) ended Rajat Rai’s final stand (31 off 29 balls).

They dismissed Souths for 73 in a little more than 24 overs.
It was a total Colts’ batters made short work of, with openers Marty Jeffrey (31 not out) and Tim Howarth (35) almost finishing the job themselves inside seven overs.
When Howarth fell at 1-70, Colts batting line-up suffered a miniature collapse as Norton saw off Mitch Ashford (0) just a few balls later.
They’d made little headway (71) when Semmler (1) was run out, but once Jeffrey got back on strike he put an end to Souths’ misery, hitting the winning runs with seven wickets – and a staggering 32 overs – in hand.
By Sunday afternoon the result was in dispute, according to the Dubbo District Cricket Association website.
That could be because only five competition points had been recorded for RSL Colts, despite the fact they reached Souths’ total in less than half the number of overs.
Chasing a total down in half the number of overs entitles the winning team to two bonus points, while chasing a total in three-quarters of the number of overs entitles the side to one bonus point.
