The pair held the division one entry and took home the entire pool after it was drawn on Tuesday.

“My wife actually bought the ticket and I mentioned to her a couple of times during the day yesterday if she had checked it and she kept telling me she hadn’t,” the man, who didn’t wish to be identified, explained.
“Last night I said to her ‘go get that ticket, I’ve got a really funny feeling about it’.
“So she went and got the ticket and we checked our numbers online and sure enough, my gut instinct was right.
“We couldn’t believe it. We were in total disbelief.”
The couple had been playing for years but never expected to take home the prize and had never considered how they would spend the money.
“We read over the numbers more than five times to be sure but I still didn’t think it could be right,” he said.
“It’s really difficult to imagine, but our first priority will be to help our family.”
“Then we will pay all our bills and think about retiring early and making some exciting plans.”
The winning ticket was purchased at News on William in Bathurst, with owner Adrian Smith saying he was ecstatic to hear the prize had been claimed.
