The sixth race of the evening is the former Group 2 winner’s first start since November 20, with the black dog eyeing his first win since October.
The $3.50 chance boasts the fastest time to date of the field, a blistering 18.13 seconds, recorded back in April.
His run on May 4 over the same distance yielded third place in a much slower 18.70.
Marbo’s Magic has since enjoyed success over longer distances, running no less than 327m since that May placing.
Perhaps more impressive than his speed is his knack for winning; Marbo’s Magic boasts a staggering 52 per cent winning rate from his 60 career starts, and a 70 per cent placing rate.

His speed and winning ways aside, the El Grand Senor x Willow Blaze dog chance faces some stiff competition from $2.70 favourite Rosa’s Revenge, with the Robert Hobson-trained bitch, drawn in box four, looking for her fourth straight victory.
The talented Cosmic Rumble x Search Party bitch boasts an impressive 35 per cent win rate, with a 62 per cent placing rate from her 52 career starts.
She hasn’t fared worse than third since October 1, with eight placings to her name from eight starts in that time.
On top of her winning ways, she also comes to Friday’s race with the third-fastest previous run: 18.32 back in October 2017.
Red Azalea’s blistering 18.27 came much more recently on November 4, but Friday’s start will be her first in six weeks.
How she bounces back could determine whether she fires or lags behind a more experienced field, but she will no doubt benefit from drawing box two.
The evening’s richest race will see two talents from local trainer Charmaine Roberts’ Keeping Kennels take on young pup Public Speaking ($2.50 favourite) in her first start at Dubbo.
Trained by Raymond Smith at Forbes, Friday’s Coolabah Goat Company 0-3 Win Stakes (520m) will be the Shakey Jakey x Drama Zarr black bitch’s fifth start.
But she finished just 0.44 seconds off the pace in her Wentworth Park debut on January 16, and her 30.74 there compares well to Amelia Keeping and Balcutta’s previous runs at Dubbo (30.54 and 30.82 respectively).
Friday’s racing commences at 7.04pm, with the Ladbrokes Daily Video Stakes jumping at 8.41pm.
