Mr Gordon said the track is in “spectacular condition” for Sunday’s seven-race program.
“The club encourages locals to come along and enjoy a day of fun-filled activities including the seven race program, it’ll be a family day out while recognising and supporting men’s mental health issues,” he said.
“If dad brings the family they’ll find plenty of family entertainment such as jumping castles as well as the races.
“The track is looking spectacular, the curator has done a great job despite the weather. It is in tip top shape and as usual the popularity of the long straight gives an even chance to all involved and that’s why we have had an exceptional amount of nomination numbers.
“The racing community see the racing surface as very fair track and I am very happy with the level of interest shown in Sunday’s meet.”
