The defending McDonalds Megahit champions will be close to full-strength “for something different”, with young gun Baye Wallace the only absentee for Friday evening’s Twenty20 clash.
Rugby sit second on the 2018-19 season ladder, and with just seven points separating all six sides there’s everything to play for.
But when asked who he was looking at to step up, Munro said only a team effort would do.
“It’s got to be more of a team combining together well,” he said.
“We batted well in patches last time and just didn’t bowl well enough, so I think if we can have a bit more of an all-round better performance, it will go a long way to us winning.
“Assuming they’re at full strength – and we’ve played them enough in Saturday cricket to know what their strengths and weaknesses are – we’re just going to focus on our game, and getting our little one percenters right. That’s all we can control.”
Ladder-leaders the Bob Berry Blasters will also take on the sixth-placed Christies Crackerjacks in the opening fixture of Friday’s double-header.
With just one round remaining, and three fixtures ruled draws due to rain or heat, Munro said “every win helps”.
“One or two more wins and you’re playing finals cricket,” he said.
Game one starts at 5.30pm, with game two set for 8pm.
