“I would like to congratulate the NSW Nationals and Dugald Saunders for listening to the concerns of the community and Council,” Councillor Shields said.
“The lack of parking had been an increasing problem. The redevelopment of the hospital has expanded services but parking hadn’t increased to meet that demand.
“That community concern was what caused Dubbo Regional Council to step in and offer assistance and lobby for more parking. I am glad the Nationals have listened.
“It shows what can be achieved when a community speaks out.
“There are few things more important than health services to a city so this is a very welcome commitment from the NSW Nationals.”
