The Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie has asked a television show to film from the 10th annual Michael Egan Memorial Book Fair in the Centenary Pavilion at Dubbo Showground on May 4 and 5.

Event coordinator Peter English revealed the invitation when he asked the public to leave donated books at Meals on Wheels, 74 Mountbatten Drive, between 9am and 5pm on January 31.
Club members will be on hand to sort, categorise and store the books at their first book fair working bee for 2019.

By the end of this years event we will have handled over a quarter of a million books and gone close to raising $100,000, Mr English said.
Proceeds of the fair are split equally between the Royal Flying Doctor Service Dubbo Support Group and cancer research.
Mr English said the club was planning a few surprises and added attractions including guest speakers, special guests and more activities for children to mark the 10th anniversary of the book fair.
The club has thanked Dubbo Regional Council and mayor Ben Shields for their support of the event.
