Weatherzone’s seven-day forecast for Dubbo as of Friday suggests the lowest maximum temperature in the period will be 38 degrees Celsius on both Sunday and Monday.
The city’s run of maximum temperatures of at least 40 degrees is predicted to end on Saturday when 41 degrees is on the cards.
It began last Sunday and included a peak of 44.6 degrees on Wednesday.
But Weatherzone is forecasting 40 degrees next Thursday, only one degree hotter than the 39 degrees predicted for both Tuesday and Wednesday.

The average temperature for the city in January is 33.3 degrees.
In the first 16 days of this month the lowest maximum temperature was 35.3 degrees.
January 2019 had officially delivered a total of 8.2 millimetres (mm) of rain by Friday morning with the highest fall of 2.4mm recorded on January 6.
