Taught by specialist music teachers, MusicPlay is for pre-schoolers, with classes for ages 2-3 years and 4-5 years, and MusicMakers is for children aged 5-6 years attending school or home-schooled.
“Music is so important and valuable for young children, the developmental and educational benefits of music for pre-school and kindergarten children are really quite amazing,” Conservatorium director Vivienne Winther said.

“Music education for the very young has been proven to enhance a child’s ability and development in speech and vocabulary, brainpower and memory, listening and concentration, movement and co-ordination, and social interaction.”
The MusicPlay and MusicMaker classes teach children the basics of music understanding through a range of enjoyable singing, movement and rhythm games.
“The classes are a great resource for parents as well,” Ms Winther said.
