Macquarie Conservatorium invites parents with young children to come along and make music together at free Come and Try sessions.
Taught by specialist music teachers, MusicPlay is for pre-schoolers, with classes for ages 2-3 years and 4-5 years, and MusicMakers is for children aged 5-6 years attending school or home-schooled.
“Music is so important and valuable for young children, the developmental and educational benefits of music for pre-school and kindergarten children are really quite amazing,” Conservatorium director Vivienne Winther said.
