Locals looking to “clear out the shed” can do so at the Cudgegong Valley Antique Machinery Club’s annual Swap Meet, which this year has added a car boot sale for the first time.

The 16th event will be held at the Mudgee Showground this Sunday (January 13), gates open at 6am.
“Adding the car boot sale is new for this year, which is to get local people who might not have enough for a garage sale. They can put their goods in the boot and come along,” CVAMC president Brian Jones said.

And added that along with the visitors to town for the event there’ll be “something for everyone”.

“We usually get people coming along from different places, this year they’re coming from Sydney, the Central Coast, Parkes, and Cowra – it’s a pretty wide area that they come from,” he said.
Entry is $5, with children under 16 free. On site camping will be available.
