The Bush Blues have fallen to fourth on the overall competition ladder after their third straight loss in the one-day section of the tournament.
They claimed the Twenty20 title after going undefeated through the first five days of the competition.
But Patterson has been the pick of NSW’s all-rounders, carrying his bat against Victoria Country on Tuesday to finish with 72 runs from 48 balls.
His effort was the highest score at the championships that day, and the highest unbeaten total for the whole tournament so far.
He also took 2-35.
He followed it with a quick-fire 20 from 17 balls in Wednesday’s loss to Queensland Country.
