More than 15 curious children and their carers learnt the art of engineering at a recent school holiday workshop hosted by the Dubbo Macquarie Regional Library.
The theme of ‘Curious Creatures’ have seen local children participate in a range of creative and educational sessions.
The Engineering workshop on January, 9 saw the young participants create a building made out of boxes, tape, straws and more.
They then had to design around it using magazines and newspapers.
The School holiday workshops are a part of the Library’s free drop-in activities over the next few weeks.
Next week from January 14 to 18 will see children aged between five and 12 create unique works of art from 10am to 12pm.
