This time she won the first three races in the program – steering Tintin Naturally ($1.22), Better Be Donna ($1.10), Lets Pop Bubbles ($1.60) to victory.
It helped keep her at the top of the New South Wales driving premiership and with the first two victors members of her own team, it saw Turnbull inch closer to the lead in the state trainers’ premiership.
Though Turnbull could not quite make it four wins at a Parkes meeting for the seventh time in her career – something she did for the first time in January, 2009 – it was still a solid effort.
Tintin Naturally secured her win after Turnbull made a three-wide mid-race move, while with Better Be Donna, the talented driver used the mare’s gate speed to take the early lead.
Lets Pop Bubbles, trained by her father Steve, held on in a tight finish to make it another all-the-way win.
All three of her victors came in the 2040 metres Elvis Championship heats.
