Her gelding, with five wins from his 43 career starts, is one of 102 nominations Racing Orange received for next week’s Kennard’s Hire Family Fun Day at Towac Park, which will be the track’s final meeting of 2018 on December 30.
He’s among the 13 potential starters for the meeting’s Benchmark 66 Handicap over 1400, a field of could-bes that also includes Lee Van Den Bos’ Loves a Hassle, which finished a tick over a length behind Next Level last week.
Joe Curran’s Concours, a last start winner at Mudgee, is likely to run too while Mitch Newman’s Not a Sound is nominated and saluted in her last run as well.
Loves a Hassle and Concours are two of 14 Towac-trained runners nominated for the meeting, with Michael Plummer boasting 10 on his own.
Alison Smith has nominated Supreme Gem among 17 potentials in the Class 1 Handicap over 1400, the young mare is fresh off her first win at Racing Orange’s Christmas at Towac Park meeting last Monday.
Nominations for the meeting were first published on Friday morning, with weights to be declared on Monday and acceptances due at 9am on Thursday, December 27.
