Students would have been anxious, stressed, doubtful and some even fearful to open those text messages or emails.
But whatever their results, it is not Doomsday. It is only the end of one phase and the start of another.
To help them out, our journalist Antonia O’Flaherty talked to a few community leaders about life after their HSC.
And what’s come back, is that life isn’t defined by the exam result or the ATAR score. While they are important, they are, in reality, just more building blocks to their individual’s desired future.
It’s not the end, but the beginning for them.
