A special morning tea was held on December, 13, to thank the 15 volunteers at the Dubbo Macquarie Regional Library for all of their hard work and support.

The volunteers help the Library with many duties including, Local Studies, administration, book covering and more.
Alibeth (Alice) Clatworthy, recently retired from her work with the Library after more than 10 years volunteering with the Home Library Service.

The Home Library Service delivers books to people within Dubbo who can’t get to the Library themselves.
The Service is a great way of helping to keep those people connected in the community.
She was given a special mention at the morning tea, as well as a certificate and gift.
Ms Anne Barwick said the volunteers support helps them to deliver the Library’s services.
The Dubbo Library will close for the public holidays during the festive season, and will close at 4pm for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
