It took 35 minutes for police to separate the brawl on Castlereagh Avenue in East Dubbo.
Police believe the majority of the girls and boys were under 18 and consuming alcohol when they arrived about 1.10am on Sunday.
Orana Mid-Western Police District crime coordinator Sergeant Jill Gibson said police were investigating the party and how it spilled onto the streets.
She said the teenage party got out of control because of open Snapchat invitations.
“We believe it came from a Peel Place address however we are appealing for any information,” Sgt. Gibson said.
All available police resources were sent after they received 11 triple zero calls.
Upon arrival, bottles were thrown at a police vehicle, leaving one’s windshield significantly cracked.
“Police saw a large number of fights break out and loud verbal arguments,” Sgt. Gibson said.
“Considering the ratio between police and people, police attempted to control the situation as best as possible, separating parties and moving on large groups.
“They were surrounded on a number of occasions and had further bottles thrown at them.”
She said police resorted to using capsicum spray to disperse the crowd that converged on them.
A young male was arrested and charged for hitting and kicking the front of a police van causing damage to the front bumper.
The 18-year-old was charged and scheduled to appear at Dubbo Local Court on January 30.
A 15-year-old was charged for breaching bail after failing to comply with police directions and was bail-refused to Dubbo Children’s Court.
Police are reviewing body-worn camera footage and videos of the incident.
“We take brawls such as that very seriously, not only are they dangerous to the persons involved but they also provoke fear in the community and property damage,” Sgt. Gibson said.

Resident Kyle Harris said the brawl was bewildering to witness.
He said he was woken from his sleep but it was the last thing he expected to find.
“I peered through the shutters and saw about 80 to 100 people brawling on my front lawn,” Mr Harris said.
“They were carrying on, throwing bottles, some were fighting, some were screaming and being ridiculous.”
He said the “belligerent” brawl left behind shattered glass, cans and bottles.
