On the week of November 24, Dubbo parkrun had the fastest times across the 20 countries where it’s held.
Bryce Anderson was the quickest male at 15 minutes and 14 seconds, while Paige Campbell came in at 16 minutes and 20 seconds.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
It was the first time Mr Anderson had been to Dubbo parkrun and he finished only one second faster than Reece Edwards.
Ms Campbell is also not a frequent participant at Dubbo parkrun. She’s run in the five kilometre event four times and each time has broken her personal best.
The athlete took out the five kilometre Dingo Dash and the 10km Cheetah Chase at the Dubbo Stampede earlier in the year, and was the fastest female at the Bathurst Edgell Jog.
