The Geurie Lions Christmas Carols and the South Dubbo Twilight Rotary Fair signal the festive season is in full swing.
Christmas carols will be heard from Tom Culkin Oval at Geurie from 6pm on Friday.
Candles costing $2 each will throw light on the event for which entry is free.
Sausage sandwiches will be available.
On Saturday, the South Dubbo Twilight Rotary Fair will be held at Macquarie Lions Park near Dubbo Visitor Centre.
The family-friendly fair will run from 4.30pm to 9.30pm.
It will feature about 20 market stalls, ham raffles, unlimited kids’ rides for $5, entertainment, food and refreshments, and most importantly a visit from the “big man in red”.
Admission is free.
