The free program, which runs in December and January, is open to children between naught and 18-years-old.
Nine-year-old Lana Estens and her siblings joined the program on Monday.
“I’ve done it before and it was good,” she said.

Lana said she liked reading chapter books, especially when they were part of a series.
She said she was excited about the Summer Reading Club’s prizes.
Macquarie Regional Library manager Kathryn McAlister said the program offered kids something fun to do over the holidays, allowing them to grow their reading confidence.
