The 2018 Graduate Outcomes Survey was released recently. Charles Sturt University leads the full-time employment rate for undergrads three years post-graduation and leads the median salary. This follows on from our excellent rankings highlighted by the Good Universities Guide for graduates in September.
I recently attended the University’s Principal and Career Advisor Dinner with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students) Jenny Roberts and a number of school Principals and Career Advisors in the region. Relationship development with our local schools is crucial to the success of the new Secondary Schools and Community Engagement Plan which forms a key deliverable within the new Student Strategy.
We hosted our second Explorations Series Public Lecture, An Evening with The Exchange, last month. It was wonderful to hear Jillian Kilby's story and interview the panel of such determined young entrepreneurs. The Exchange is definitely one to keep an eye on as they continue to keep moving from strength to strength.
I’m pleased to share that Three Rivers University Department of Rural Health has recently announced the roll out of a suite of health student accommodation scholarships. Scholarships are now open, applications close on 14 December, 2018.
There are a total of 76 scholarships available for students in eleven health courses studying and living full time on the Albury, Wagga Wagga, Orange or Dubbo Campuses.
The courses included in the eligibility criteria are: Bachelor of Dental Science, Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (with Specialisations), Bachelor of Medical Science (Pathology), Bachelor of Nursing,Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy/Hygiene), Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology.
