The truth-telling theatre explains how the teenage brain works and “how that plays out in everyday life”.
Western Plains Cultural Centre’s youth theatre company, the Black Box Creatives (BBCs), has been rehearsing the show for performances from 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
“Following the success of our initial production of Brainstorm in July we wanted to continue to explore through theatre, the story of the complex relationship between youth and their parents based on their unique experiences,” director Camilla Ward said.

The script of Brainstorm, a ground-breaking and innovative theatre experience from the UK, has been developed by the cast with help from Mrs Ward and Dubbo writer Toni Grant.
The shows will be staged at WPCC’s Black Box Theatre.
Tickets cost $15 for an adult, $10 for a child under the age of 16 years and concession $10.
