A creation of band members from The Scots School Pipes and Drums, the spectacular will showcase traditional and contemporary music, signing and dancing.
Bandmaster Gill Mackenzie has taught at the school for the last 16 years, and said he sees the spectacular as a culmination of all the special performances the band has been a part of.
"We have played so many great performances, we just wanted to bring them all together into one special performance.
“This is a fantastic group of students who have attained a high standard. You will be surprised at what the Pipe Band can play. It will be a very entertaining night," Mr Mackenzie said.
Students from regional NSW will be part of the band playing at the Highland Spectacular, with drum sergeant Makenzie-Rose Honeysett from Condoblin and pipe major Tim Powell from Narromine.
"I am looking forward to playing for people that are close to my home," Mr Powell said.
The Highland Spectacular will be performed at Dubbo Christian School on Friday, November 30, at 6.30pm. Tickets are available online at 123tix.com.au and the cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children.
The profits will go to the Buy a Bale program in conjunction with the Geurie Lions for the District of Lions 201N4.
